Abstract: This investigation was carried out to reveal and evaluate the pattern of the mesonephros growth in the dromedary camel. 30 embryos and foetuses (2 cm CVRL to 24 cm CVRL) were used to study the histology of the mesonephros. The mesonephros of the dromedary camel foetus, consisted of small glomeruli (primary) and two types of tubules with a set of capillaries in between. The large glomeruli (giant glomeruli) were observed immediately before the time of gonads differentiation to male or female between 2 and 3 cm CVRL (71 and 74 days of age) towards the positions where the gonads were developed. Thus in male fetuses, the giant glomeruli surrounded the hilus at the cranial part of the mesonephros and in this place the testes were developed, whereas in the female foetuses the giant glomeruli surrounded the hilus at the medial border of the mesonephros and this the position where the developing ovaries were observed. The large glomeruli were limited in number when they first appeared (not more than 20) then regressed soon after the gonads underwent differentiation, while the small mesonephric glomeruli were observed in different stages of development till 17 cm CVRL (112 days of age). It was clear from these observations, that the differentiation of the gonad of the dromedary camel foetuses could be related to the position of the gonads in relation to the mesonephros and according to the position where the giant glomeruli were arranged.

Abstract: This article has the purposde to realize the Kruskal- Wallis non-oparametric test on a historical series of consumption of the most important items of a multinational company in the oil and gas sector. The objective of this paper is to check if there is seasonality in its demand, thus offering a more adherent forecasting a model for each one of them. The company mentioned has a inventory estimated at US $ 17,500,000.00. There was collected a consumption data from March 2014 to March 2016, and from the binomial composed of the ABC classification and the inventory turnover, items were selected as Class A and as high turnover. It is known that an inventory with low turnover directly impacts on the operating costs of any company. Thus, one needs to analyze the demand behavior for each item, to propose a forecasting model, and therefore establish an inventory policy. Such inventory, as much as possible, should be streamlined, since it enables continuing operations. Given the high value of stored items, the accuracy of the used demand forecasting models plays a key role in the financial health of the company, starting from a leaner structure, one can focus on other domestic sectors, thus establishing a competitive advantage.

Pages: 16-22 Paper ID:165605-4545-IJBAS-IJENS Published: October, 2016
Abstract: Exoskeleton was one of biological composite materials that have not been widely studied. The study was conducted to find out the chemical characteristics and the microstructure of Rhynchophorus, sp. exoskeleton. The results of the study showed that the exoskeleton (i.e., exoskeleton powder of dorsal or tergum parts, which were pronotum and elytra, ventral or sternum parts, horns, snouts and legs) of the Rhynchophorus, sp. contained 27.063% water, 0.990% ash, 44.577% protein, 3.940% fat, and 23.430% carbohydrate. There were eight elements of the exoskeleton of the beetle, which were three main elements in huge quantity, including Carbon (C) 42.307%, Nitrogen (N) 26.147%, and Oxygen (O) 29.730%, and five other elements in small quantity, including Phosphorus (P) 0.227%, Sulphur (S) 0.243%, Potasium (K) 3.312%, Copper (Cu) 0.413%, and Zirconium (Zr) 0.637%. The cross-section view of the exoskeleton (elytra) of the Rhynchophorus, sp. showed that there were four laminar areas, including epicuticle, exocuticle, mesocuticle, and endocuticle.

Abstract: The main problem in the management of fishery resources is how the fishery resources produce high economic benefit but its sustainability be maintained. This study aims to analyze the actual and optimal production levels of coral trout grouper in Selayar Archipelago Regency. A survey was conducted in Gusung island, Selayar Archipelago Regency by using simple random cluster sampling. The respondents were 32 fisherman who used fishing rods and 29 fisherman who used traps. Analysis of the data using formulas bioeconomy optimal static and dynamic with the help of software MS. Excel and Mapple 18. The results showed that the actual condition of the coral trout grouper utilization in Selayar Archipelago Regency has not experienced overfishing, both biologically and economically. The actual production was 184,57 tons while the optimum production of OSY (Optimum Sustainable Yield) management regime is equal to 213,32 tons. It is necessary to increase the amount of effort from the actual condition was 52.744 trips to the management OSY regime that is 111.339 trips to get the optimum economic rents amounting to 5.937.435.339 rupiahs.
