Abstract: This paper deals with the stabilization design problem for a class of continuous-time Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model-based control systems. A stabilization design based on fuzzy Lyapunov function and a non-parallel distributed compensation (non-PDC) control law has been proposed. Sufficient stabilization conditions are derived. The conditions for the solvability of the state feedback controller design are given in a form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) which can be efficiently solved using convex optimization techniques. Unlike most of the fuzzy Lyapunov functions approaches reported in literatures, the bounds of the time derivatives of the membership functions are not required in the proposed approach. The validity of the proposed approach is demonstrated using numerical example via simulation.

Title: Contribution of Airplane design parameters on Roll Coupling
Author(s): Mohammed Kheir Aldeen Abbas Askar
Pages: 7-16 Paper ID: 131806-9292-IJMME-IJENS Published: December, 2013
Abstract: The research study the contribution of airplane design parameters in general and the wing design parameters in specific ,the consideration of the moments of inertia in X,Y, and Z-axis on roll coupling for different value of roll rate. The equations of motion of aircraft have been analyzed for good assumption to determine the required equations of motion for roll coupling. All these equations had been tested by Routh Discriminate, and found that the mean Aerodynamic Chord had the most positive influence on stability of roll coupling.

Title: Cryogenic(nano)Probe Design, & Developmentfor Ice Ball Formation
Author(s): M. Chandran, Dr. P. Senthil Kumar
Pages: 17-21 Paper ID: 136206-5959-IJMME-IJENS Published: December, 2013
Abstract: Cryogenic (nano )probe technology was used to design the cryogenic( nano )probeand the same was analyzed with analysissoftware. Bio heat equations are used to solve the heat transferproblems.Freezing was optimizedand nanoparticles were added toenhance the freezing heat transfer and formore ice nucleation and thereby protecting the surrounding healthy tissue, which are factors required for the successes of cryogenicsurgery. This was done with the help of Cryogenic (nano )probe technology with cryoprobes, till ice ball was formed.Cooling techniques andcryo(nano) probes was successfully applied in the fields of engineering, many branches of medicineand even in veterinary surgery also.

Abstract: This paper reports on modeling carried out for Hybrid Thermoelectric Refrigerator (H-TER) system. The system is highly non-linear and exhibits varying model parameters and dead-time, hence the objective of the study is to investigate the mathematical model that are not based on detailed advance plant knowledge for changing system dynamics. 2nd orders of stochastic (ARMAX) and deterministic (ARX) mathematical models have been identified for the H-TER system using real-time operating system. The H-TER system has been identified using both the Recursive Extended Least Squares (RELS) and Recursive Least Squares (RLS) methods. Since RELS has been shown to give biased estimates, the values found from the RLS have been chosen for the model. A 2nd order ARX model is found to adequately represent the system as it gives the best fit with better properties than the ARMAX model. Validation procedures show that the derived model is indeed a good enough representation of the H-TER.

Abstract: Lean is developed into a management method, which improves the overall standard of an organization. This study aims at providing a detailed outline of lean implementation helping managers to implement lean in their premises. The factors which affect lean implementing has been carved out of various literature works taking guidelines from experts from both industries and academies. For developing independent and latent variables Structural Equation Modelling is used. For organizing and taking complex decisions used for ranking alternatives Analytical Hierarchy Process technique is used.
