Title: Application of Self-Assessment Tool for the Measurement of the Maturity Level of a Moroccan Health Institution by Report to the Quality Approach

Abstract: The world of health has undergone for several years a crisis which is at the same time economic, cultural, ethical and organizational. The hospital reforms follow one another in order to try to control the costs, quality, equity and the security of the care, under a goal to meet these needs, significant progresses are well recorded as regards management of the quality and risk management, and the approaches quality extended gradually to several fields, in particular the services of the care. In the same context, we chose to study the case of a Moroccan university hospital center (CHU), to answer the question of following research: which is the level of maturity of the hospital center compared to the quality approach? In order to answer the previous question, we took care to study the whole of the health care institution, and this by using a tool of self-assessment, which we conceived and adapted to the studied concept, this tool is inspired from the standard ISO 9001 of manual EFQM, and the professional good practices.

Title: Dynamic Modeling and Active Vibration Control of a Flexible Beam: A Review

Abstract: This paper reviews the study of active vibration control of a flexible beam by using smart materials. The objective of this paper is to find out what have been developed by the researchers in recent years and previous research regarding to the active vibration controls. The different techniques used by each researcher are very essentials in contribution of controlling vibration. All the findings are summarized according to modeling strategies and type of the controller can used to control vibration by proving the efficiency of each strategy based on results from the literature.

Abstract: The use of high critical temperature superconductive materials in the systems of satellite communication allows simultaneously to reduce the mass and the volume of devices and to reach performances of very high qualities. However, not controllable parameters in the manufacturing processes (indistinctness of the engraving, the non-uniformity of the thickness of the substratum, the …) do not allow to obtain a precision on the central frequency, where from the necessity of finding solutions to adjust the resonant frequencies without degrading the quality factor and without the use of the external systems of regulation which increase the weight and the congestion.

Title: Experimental and Theoretical Study of The Natural Frequency for Unanchored Fuel Storage Tank

Abstract: In this work, experimental and theoretical study are focused on calculation natural frequencies for empty tank and tanks with different filling ratio. A fuel storage tank which its diameter (0.2m)and The (H/R) ratio was three values and these values were (0.75, 1.0 and 1.25.The thickness of plate of were (1.5 , 3 and 4) mm. Theoretically, The finite element model of the unanchored fuel storage tank used SHELL99 and SOLID187 Elements in order to described fluid and tank respectively. In this mode, the tank was divided into cylinder, base and roof and the cylinder was divided into several section depending on the thickness of tank and/or the level of liquid. SHELL99 element was used to mesh the liquid that was represented as a solid with certain modulus of elasticity and certain density. Experimentally, the vibration test used the roving hammer to calculate the fundamental natural frequency of the tank. Comparison between the experimental and theoretical results shows good agreement and the maximum absolute error percentage was (15.6%) when the thickness of plate was (4 mm) and the (H/R) ratio was (1.25).

Title: The Dynamic Effect of PVB Interlayer Thickness on Laminated Glass Window

Abstract: Small mass impact on laminated glass windows caused by hailstones and windborne debris can create internal damage that reduces the strength of the structure significantly. The effect of PVB interlayer on automotive and architectural glass window like the monolithic and laminated glass is studied by the use of the coded finite element program. To model and predict the impact response of both the monolithic and laminated glasses, an approach based on the Sun's higher-order beam finite element and Dharani's PVB interlayer model is proposed. The verification of the numerical model is conducted by using an energy balance model and wave propagation method for impacts on the monolithic and laminated glass beams. The present finite element results show a good agreement with those of wave propagation method in view of maximum contact force and the history of wavefront but the maximum contact force of an energy balance model tends to overestimate. The impact responses such as the time histories of contact force and wavefront regarding change of PVB interlayer thickness are compared with each other between the monolithic and laminated glasses with the same total glass thickness. Consequently, it may be concluded that the existence of the PVB interlayer between the monolithic and laminated glass has significant effect on impact responses such as the histories of contact force, impact energies and wavefront etc. but the variation of the PVB interlayer thickness in laminated glass does not affect so much.

Title: The Magnetic and Mechanical Properties of Sintered Ceramic Magnets SrxBa1-xFe12O19

Abstract: The magnetic and mechanical properties of sintered ceramic magnets with composition SrxBa1-xFe12O19 with mole fraction ratio (x) have been investigated. The SrxBa1-xFe12O19 with mole fraction ratio to adjust with x = 0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and 1 were calcined at temperature of 1100 C. Subsequently, the calcined powder was compacted and sintered to form sintered pellets and bars. For determine of sintering temperature, mixture of hematite and barium carbonate was calcined at temperature 1100 ᴼC, compacted, and then sintered at various temperature of 1000, 1100, and 1200 ᴼC. The magnetic properties are determined by hysteresis curve that was established using VSM machine. X-ray diffraction was used to investigate crystal structure of the elements. The Archimedes principle was practiced to measure density of sintered products. The mechanical properties were examined using flexural strength and Vickers hardness. As a result of the research, increased of the fraction mole x would increase Ms of the SrxBa1-xFe12O19. At the x = 0 for SrFe12O19 and x = 1 for BaFe12O19 were the Ms of 41.14 emu/g and the Ms of 80.32 emu/g, respectively. Otherwise, increased of the mole fraction x would decreased Hc. The Hc of the SrFe12O19 more than the BaFe12O19 were of 3.64 kOe and 5.22 kOe, respectively. Whereas the BH max of 4.22 MGOe was highest of the x = 0.25 for the Sr0.25Ba0.75Fe12O19. The flexural strength and Vickers hardness did not change with increasing of the x mole fraction. However, the flexural strength and Vickers hardness increased with increasing sintering temperature.

Title: The Regress Averaging Clustering Algorithm

Abstract: The output of the K Means clustering process shows that the K-Means which are obtained finally, yield the mean of the dataset under consideration when averaged. In this novel approach to clustering, we use this revelation to find the average of the entire dataset and then depending on the number of required clusters we find the K unchanging means using Regress Averaging where-in we use the average of a dataset to find the points which yield the average.
