Pages: 5-8 Paper ID:151202-9393-IJBAS-IJENS Published: April, 2015
Abstract: Characteristics of material Na1-xCaxCo2O4 (with x = 0, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3) are measured with Differential Scanning Calorymeter at temperature 300 K - 700 K in order to determine specific heat capacity coefficient (C) and specific heat electronic capacity coefficient (?). The observation yields that specific heat electronic coefficient (?) of the material is about 20 mJ/mol.K2, which is higher than average value of simple metals. This indicates that Na1-xCaxCo2O4 (with x = 0, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3) materials have stronger electronic correlation system. Ca substitution gives scattering effect to the interaction and spin fluctuation as it has major contibuting role in transporting charge carrier. The ionic component of conductivity, associated with a presence of mobile Na+ ions. Electrical conductivity of Na1-xCaxCo2O4 material is the the combination of ionic and electronic conductivity.
Keywords: Na1-xCaxCo2O4, specific heat electronic capacity coefficient, scattering effect.

Pages: 9-20 Paper ID:154702-8484-IJBAS-IJENS Published: April, 2015
Abstract: This work on the food mode of Psammomys obesus supplements our knowledge on the ecology of the tank of zoonotic Cutaneous leishmaniasis, (habitat and trophic mode) in the arid areas and wet zone of the chergi chott (Algeria). The knowledge of the biotic and abiotic factors of the disease will facilitate the work of the agents and actors in charge of the programs of fight against this disease. It will open more ecological alternatives to the only fight practised by spreading of insecticides. The chemical fight by highly toxic spreading of insecticides is dangerous for the man, the animals and the environment The zone of Aïn Skhouna knew epidemiologic peaks of zoonotic cutaneous leishmaniasis (Z.C.L.) between 2002 and 2006. Two hundred sixty-seven cases (267) of Leishmaniose, on a total population of six thousand hundred and ninety (6199) were recorded at the time of the epidemiologic peak of 2003 (Saci Belgat and al. 2012). According To Leila Houti and al. (2012), this area was transformed into an endemic hearth of the Z.C.L. Taking into account the prevalence of the disease, indelible after-effects that it causes to patients, the financial costs to public treasury, its study become essential. Saada Chougrani evaluates the treatment to 3000$ U.S (2012). The empirical study of the biotope and the phytocoenose, thanks to the techniques of quantitative ecology in the zone of spreading of Dzira in edge of the village of Ain Skhouna, was supplemented by a microscopic study of feces of the gerbil. This microscopic identification was carried out by comparison of the sheets of the principal vegetal species and the fragments contained in the feces. The process of analysis and determination is presented by Joselyne Rech (2011).

Abstract: The reported study was performed to address the nutritional analysis viz., Juice contents, Total Sugar and citric acid contents of various fruit juices. The fruit juices that were tested included orange, Sweet lime, Lemon and grape. The fruit samples were brought at various intervals to laboratory of SBK Women’s University, Quetta. The samples were washed with distilled water and were kept at room temperature. The selected physiochemical characteristics of the fruits were then evaluated on the same day. The results for all the selected physiochemical parameters were found significant at different intervals. Being an acidic fruit lemon contained highest concentration of citric acid as compared to other fruits but in contrast grapes and orange were found to be highly rich in contents of total soluble solids respectively. It is concluded from the study that all the fruits were highly juicy but lemon were found as a rich source of citric acid and grapes and orange can be used as a rich source of sugar.

Pages: 25-33 Paper ID:154802-9393-IJBAS-IJENS Published: April, 2015
Abstract: A new , simple , sensitive and rapid spectrophotometric method is proposed for the determination of trace amount of Manganese (II) . The method is based on the formation of a 2:1 complex with 3-(4'- antipyriyl azo) 1- nitroso-2-naphthol (APAN) as a complexing reagent is developed . The complex has a maximum absorption at 467 nm and emax of 0.25 X 105 L. mol-1. cm-1 . A linear correlation (0.1 – 2.4 µg. ml-1) was found between absorbance at ?max and concentration . The accuracy and reproducibility of the determination method for various known amounts of Manganese (II) were tested . The results obtained are both precise (RSD was better than 0.26 % ) and accurate (relative error was better than 0.22 % ) . The effect of diverse ions on the determination of Manganese (II) to investigate the selectivity of the method were also studied . The stability constant of the product was 0.72 X 106 L. mol-1 . The proposed method was successfully applied to the analysis of synthetic mixtures .
Keywords: Azo dye , Manganese (II) determination, spectrophotometry , antipyriyl azo 1-nitroso-2-naphthol.

Title: Determining The Social and Psychological Reasons for The Emergence of Parkour and Free Running – An Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis
Author(s): Mathew Wallace, RukiyeKilili
Pages: 34-40 Paper ID:152502-7474-IJBAS-IJENS Published: April, 2015
Abstract: Parkour and free running are newly emerged high risk urbanised activities still relatively understudied. They don’t appear to be subject to rules and regulations with aims and objectives being unclear. There are no distinct signs of competition and yet competitors are extremely trained, highly ordered, thriving on the danger and adrenaline participation produces. The participants perform dangerous gymnastic movements utilising awkward obstacles without the use of protective clothing and don’t appear to be concerned with the welfare of people in the vicinity. The activities are associated with self-improvement, endurance, discipline, strength, flexibility and balance. Parkour and free running videos are frequently posted on the self-broadcast website, YouTube. Here participants can be seen leaping from high buildings, climbing walls and jumping between handrails. This study presents the results of a phenomenological study of eight parkour and free running participants. A systematic IPA procedure was incorporated into the study to enter into a participant’s reality to obtain experiences of parkour and free running. Through IPA interviews participants describe their experiences of the phenomenon being studied. It was discovered that participation provides emotional, physical and psychological development, health benefits, the development of new skills (e.g., pushing personal boundaries), an increased sense of individuality, an opportunity to acquire status and develop a new personal identity, the generation of personal meaning (philosophy, spirituality and aesthetics) and an increased sense of belonging (distinct group norms, subculturally shared experiences and a unique sense of authenticity). The participants explained that they were initially motivated by thrill seeking, risk, improved health and enjoyment. They asserted that participation provides physical and mental training, a sense of mastery and personal challenge. Regular practise and commitment furnishes a participant with a sense of being in the present and a deepened sense of spirituality and enjoyment. The unique characteristics of parkour and free running (e.g., philosophy, environment, spirituality, perception and aesthetics) are linked to the characteristics of extreme sport which indicates that parkour and free running are part of a counter culture.

Abstract: The dates are used to prepare several food products, among which the Btana is a best conservation form commonly practiced in the South-west area of Algeria. The peasants add during its preparation one or more aromatic herbs according to the choice and the areas. The present research aims relates to the study of the effectiveness of the methods used from the microbiological quality point of view and the determination of the effect of the plants added during the Btana preparations, for that we followed the evolution of the bacterial load during the conservation. The experience results obtained show a strong regression of the microorganisms in the samples containing Rosemary compared to those, which do not contain it. Another advantage of the use of Rosemary herb is that it enables us to stabilize the pH of date with a less acid degree of a higher quality; these results were supported by a complementary study, which consists in showing the effect of the essential oil of inhibiting Rosemary on some pathogenic microorganisms…etc.
